About Mrs. Zimmer

Hi Parents and Students,

I am excited to be working with you this year! Here’s a little bit about me.

​

I graduated from UW-Stout and UW-Eau Claire. I'm certified to teach Family and Consumer Education, grades 7-12, Math, grades 7-12, and Elementary/Middle Level Education, grades 1-8.

​

My husband, David, and I live outside of Rice Lake, WI. Rice Lake is a small town about 9 miles north of the CAVE office in Cameron.  Mr. Zimmer teaches for another virtual school so we both work from home. When you Skype with me, you will see me in my “office” in the corner of our living room.

​

We home schooled our children while they were growing up and enjoyed it immensely. Now they are both adults and live and work near the Twin Cities. When we aren’t visiting our kids or working with you, we like to garden and help out our own parents. Our two cats and pet turtle share our home.
